There are those who claim that blogging is just a waste of time. If blogging is a waste of time, there are great deal of people doing it, and many more people are taking the time to read blogs. The working press is on to blogging and in a few notable cases, bloggers are beating the working press at their own game.

At Business Opportunities Weblog an effort has been made to quantify just how much filthy lucre money a blog is worth. They should know, they are in the making money from a blog kind of space. Don't get me wrong, I like filthy lucre money as much as the next guy. I even bought a Florida lottery ticket once for $45 million.

I'm writing this blog for one reason and one reason only: Filthy lucre I want to help others avoid the heartbreak of computing. There is also better living through digital culture and effective use of the Internet. Some of this technology we read about on the Internet can actually make life a little better.

The latest absurdity, Scooter Libby, is related to power, greed and money filthy lucure. The only folks who will benefit are lawyers.

I won't dwell too much on the absurdity of man too much. The wonders of the Internet and avoiding the heartbreak of computing are much more fun.
